About Us

In 2002 Roger Dockter founded GeoRestoration, Inc. with a simple mission statement: Provide the best environmental services in the industry at reasonable pricing. We continue to follow that mission statement today.

What we strive to do:

  • Provide top-notch project management specific to each site.
  • Adhere to project schedules and regulatory deadlines.
  • Use high-performance technology at lower costs.
  • Pay attention to client needs.

These principles were developed by Roger and reflect his mindset. When it comes to conducting business, he is “Old School”—not in an old-fashioned sense, but in a Retro way: When a handshake meant your word. And you kept your word. When doing an honest day’s work was the norm. And before personal integrity became extinct. And lawyers were not necessary.

Mobile Remediation Equipment

GRI’s clout is its fleet of mobile remediation equipment. These systems use various treatment technologies that can be quickly mobilized and placed into service.

GRI has plenty of success stories, having completed a number of mobile treatment projects. At two sites with free phase hydrocarbons, a total of 13,000 and 17,000 gallons of fuel was removed from the subsurface. Other sites with tight soil conditions (clayey sediments) have had significant reductions and are in the final stages of closure. Generally significant changes are seen in two to three months.

One of GRI’s larger projects for the County of Monterey started with MTBE at a concentration of 1,900,000 ug/l in groundwater. Source removal at this site is now allowing for aggressive remediation of the dissolved phase contaminants. The latest analytical results show an MTBE concentration of 230,000 ug/l and dropping rapidly.

Flexibility and Faster Response Time

GRI may be small, but sometimes small has its advantages. We can provide more flexibility and faster response time. There are no layers of bureaucracy to navigate—and bill for.
